Cool idea for a customer reactivation program

A client was wanting to reactivate an old customer list, but she didn’t have a web site, and had a very small budget.  So I suggested she text the former customers, and re-introduce herself to them (she had all their records on paper).    I suggested she should ask for their email addresses, so she can add them to a MailChimp (i.e. free) emailing system.
