Guaranteed Results for YouTube Ranking? No.

As part of my strategy for getting a video to rank on page 1 of Google, I use an RSS feed submission process.

To make this part of the strategy available to more people, I am offering this on Fiverr.com as a gig called “Do YouTube video ranking magic with RSS“.

The most common question I am asked by people who are considering buying this, is “Will you guarantee results”?

The answer is always “No”.  Why?

Firstly, I am rarely told what keywords you want to rank your video for.  You might have a video you want to rank for something very competitive like “weight loss”, which is pretty much impossible.

Secondly, I have no idea what else you have done to try to rank the video.  There are a lot of things you can do to get your video to page 1, and just doing this one thing from my video ranking checklist is going to make some difference, but not much, if you do nothing else.  It is like if a pretty girl asks “Can this makeup make me win Miss World?”, yet you know nothing about deportment, have terrible hair and need a new wardrobe.  It is all just part of a much bigger strategy.

Third, what is a guarantee anyway?  Even if your video goes to page 1 of Google, there is only room for ten websites or videos on page 1.  In another month, someone else might have done some really good ranking stuff and pushed your video to page 2.  Or that might happen in 3 years, or longer.  If I gave a “guarantee”, you would be after me for a refund.

The bottom line is that if I knew for sure how to always rank any video on page 1 for any keyword, I would be charging a heck of a lot more than $5 to do it.  In fact, I would not be telling people about it, because the moment anyone who is competing with me heard about my technique, my videos would no longer be on page 1 because they would do the same as me and possibly beat me.

So no.  No guarantee.  Not until you can make me Miss World 😉
